Innovation Consultations

We are launching innovation consultations for a number of Monash-affiliated hospitals through a collaboration with the Monash Institute of Medical Engineering. At launch, we will operate at Monash Health, Alfred Health, Bendigo Health and Monash University. If you are from one of these institutions, please feel free to book a time with our lab.

If you do not have an affiliation with these institutions, we sometimes provide external support on an ad-hoc basis (time-permitting). It helps if you are able to reimburse us for our time.

Some advice for our consultations:

Please prepare a one-page summary and send it to our team >48 hours prior to our meeting. The summary should cover your problem, solution, implementation strategy and what your main questions are. We prefer dot points, but prose is fine. If you're unsure about what to include, refer to the traffic light table in this link.

We may ask a lot of challenging questions about your project. We do not expect you to have all the answers and will try to point you in the right direction. Please keep an open mind that your project may need to evolve to succeed.

If you are interested in a long-term ongoing engagement, we may be open to this depending on the project quality and suitability of remuneration.
